Teckell® was born within B.Lab, a vibrant laboratory where the Italian creative tradition meets people, skills, ideas, dreams and projects, which come together to form something unprecedented and surprising. Teckell®’s mission led to the birth of masterpieces out of the ordinary, objects that are marvelous from an aesthetic point of view, but that give their best thanks to the interaction with the human being, to whom they return emotions and amazement. HISTORY
Based in Northern Italy, B.Lab Italia has been a laboratory of ideas and experimentation since 2003, a place where masterpieces are made, rooted in Italian craftsmanship with an eye to the future of design.
B.Lab Italia srl is founded, a multidisciplinary laboratory arising from an artisanal Italian company, where ideas and influences converge to generate the design of tomorrow.
Thanks to the collaboration with Adriano Design, Contropiede comes to life: the first foosball table made of low-iron tempered glass, and thus the Teckell® masterpiece that started it all.
Teckell® exhibits its foosball table for the first time at the Salone del Mobile, Milan.
Teckell® begins exporting to the Middle East and the US, exhibiting at its first design fairs as an emerging Made in Italy brand.
Teckell® launches the first foosball table in the 90° Minuto series, whose structure is made entirely of prized Canaletto walnut wood.
Teckell® is distributed worldwide by the prestigious international luxury boutique Lane Crawford.
Teckell® exhibits its foosball table for the first time at Maison&Objet, Paris. The company is selected for the Signature area, taking a place among international luxury brands.
Teckell® begins selling its iconic functional sculptures at Le Bon Marché, the famed luxury shopping destination in the heart of Paris’s Left Bank.
A Teckell® foosball table is installed at the headquarters of the Italian Embassy in Paris.
Teckell® lands in Asia, entering the market by participating in the Shanghai Home Expo.
Teckell® collaborates with Gucci, displaying its centerpieces at the brand’s UK boutiques.
Thanks to a collaboration with Marc Sadler, the BILIARDO COLLECTION, the first pool tables by Teckell®, is born.
Teckell® releases its first collection of exquisite clocks, revolutionizing the concept, and thus creating the TAKTO® sub-brand, which encompasses timepieces made of low-iron tempered glass.
The Teckell® collection is displayed at ONhouse, in the heart of Milan, along with other top international luxury and home innovation brands.
Teckell® collaborates with Lalique, a historic French fine glass manufacturer, to produce a collection of timepieces with exquisite finishes.
Teckell® collaborates with Giorgetti, the epitome of Italian furniture design, making a foosball table entirely upholstered in leather.
Stratego is born: the Teckell® multi-game board designed by Lorenzo Di Giovanni, Head of R&D at B.Lab Italia.
Teckell® begins to collaborate with the prestigious furniture design group Luxury Living, displaying its collection at the Paris showroom.
Teckell® reaffirms its role as a representative of the Italian luxury lifestyle around the world, beginning a partnership with Azimut-VMarine, entertaining guests at the group’s summer events.
Teckell® reinforces its presence in Asia, participating in Design Shanghai in 2017, opening an area at the prestigious Tiamantti shopping center in 2018. The brand also begins to fully embrace the potential of the web.
A collaboration with Ciclotte® began, resulting in the first exercise bike with an all-glass wheel: Teckell® Ciclotte®. The product has since revolutionized the concept of luxury fitness.
Thanks to a collaboration with Eleventy, a Milanese fashion brand, the Matte variant of the 90° Minuto foosball table is issued.
Thanks to the creative minds at Adriano Design, Teckell® launches Effetto 71, its first table tennis, further expanding the pieces in its exceptional design collections.
Teckell® unveils a treadmill that is unlike anything seen before. It can be totally integrated into any room, once again establishing the brand as an innovator that goes beyond convention.
